Drone over Wood Street shops Thursday 03 September 2020

The drone which was originally meant to have flown over Wood Street area on 31 July (delayed due to high winds) is rescheduled for Thursday 03 September. The area it will fly over includes Wood Street, Fagan Place, Ellen Street, and Findlay Street, all within the public realm. The drone will be flying 60m above ground level and is booked to fly for two hours (though we will only need a total of 30min flight time).

The drone is fully registered under Resilio Studio and the flight has been logged through AirShare, an app that logs flights to control any airspace issues. The footage will be used for planning purposes only (Wood Street revitalisation project).
